SS400 is similar to Chinese Standard Q235B
SS400 is essentially equivalent to our Q235 (equivalent Q235A use). But differ on specific targets, Q235 content of C, Si, Mn, S, P and other elements have been requested, but only requires SS400 S, P less than 0.050. Q235 is greater than the yield point of 235 MPa, and SS400 yield point of 245MPa. SS400 (steel for general structure), which means that the general structure of 400MPa tensile strength greater than steel. Q235 meaning greater than the yield point of ordinary carbon steel 235MPa. SS400 Standard No. JIS G3101. Q235 standard number is GB / T700.
