 What is SS400?

ss400 is a Japanese steel material representation, equivalent to the domestic steel Q235 numbers. Foreign standard structural steel often classified according to the tensile strength, such as SS400 (Japan is marked), where 400 means that the minimum σb is 400MPa.

SS400 is similar to Chinese Standard Q235B
